Polyurethane foam for general purpose insulation: it can be used in application like the production of pre-insulated pipes, discontinuous panels shutter and for pour-in-place and cavity fillings applications. The relatively low reactivity of the system makes it ideally suitable for handmixing and long pouring times or injection. Range of service temperature extend from 110 degrees C to 200 degrees C.

The Duodex Non-Fire Aluminium Insulated shutters are designed specially for external areas and areas that require protection from heat or thermal insulation, suitable for industrial and air-conditioning warehouse use. The insulation also helps in conservation of energy. A weatherproof high quality durable power coated paint system(Jotun) is further applied as the finished coat through oven baked process.

The Shutter curtain are constructed from continuosly 100 X 1.0mm or 100 X 1.2mm thick slats securely placed by end locks. Double glazed vison panels are also available upon request as an option.

Vertical guides are contructed from mild steel plates formed to channel of 75mm X 90mm or 150 X 75 which are aligned to the shutter casing.

Our vertical side guide brush door seal and rubber weather seal allow our slats to roll up and down with flexibility. Our nylon brush are of high quality which will not wear out easily or dereriorate. The rubber weather seal are made of natural rubber that comes with air release holes for soft compression against the slats. It helps to completely seal both sides of the vertical guide. It also act as an air-blockage as well as serve the purpose of energy saving. Draughts, dust, heat, insects, cold air, noise, smoke, light and rain will not pass through that easily.

The Shutter roller is made of black B pipe of required size to avoid deflection. Both ends of the pipe is supported with bearing on end plates.

Duodex Rubber Weather Seal Strip will regain its shape when pressure is removed and it it turnable and have a long lige span. This provide good sealing of air-condition warehouse area, offices and dust-free locations which also prevents most kind of infiltration.

These fire shutters have end plates which are in diffenrent thickness and sizes pending on width and height of the shutter.

The shutter is driven by a standard motor which runs on single phase 240V power supply 13 Ampere. Different shutter weight will need different motor capacity as follows:

300kg motor runs on 1/4hp 400kg motor runs on 1/3hp 500kg motor runs on 1/2hp 750kg motor runs on 3/4hp 1000kg motor rusn on 1hp

When shutter motor is over 1000kg then the motor requirement will use a 415V, 3 phase power supply. 3 phase motors if required can be installed with additional cost as an option. A delay timer can be used for escape purpose during emergencies. The timer will allows the shutter to stop at half level for a few seconds or minutes before closing fully. This design can incorporate a fail safe system whereby in the event of power disruption during fire, the shutter can still closed.
